Safety is a top priority

Mercy Flights is committed to the highest standards of patient safety, care, and transport.

Medical teams

Our medical teams are devoted to excellent and individualized patient care on all medical transports.  At Mercy Flights, we extend our care within the local community by working with local physicians and facilities.  This collaboration keeps Mercy Flights well-connected with local hospital practices and offers our patients the benefit of an integrated continuum of care.

Maintenance certifications and education

We employ a staff of aircraft maintenance professionals with 40+ years of experience in both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft. All aircraft maintenance staff are FAA A&P licensed and hold additional ratings including FAA Inspector Authorization, non-destructive testing ASNT-TC-1A and NAS 410 level II in MT, PT, ET and VT, as well as others. All of our staff undergoes factory training on all aircraft we operate. We keep our aircraft away from extreme temperatures by housing them in secure hangers when not in use. We also employ a FAA approved maintenance program for our aircraft to meet the safest standards for transporting our customers.
