Mercy Flights is accepting applications for a Full-Time Membership Community Specialist.
Mercy Flights was established in 1949 and is a non-profit EMS agency providing clinical services for Ground, Rotor Wing and Fixed Wing 911 EMS and Inter-facility transports. The primary focus of a Membership Community Specialist is building relationships in the community by providing outstanding customer service with a focus on membership retention and recruitment; presenting knowledge of Mercy Flights history and services provided along with the benefits of the membership program.

Position Information:
Hours: 40 hrs./wk., Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm;

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides the highest level of customer service to community members and for membership inquires and assistance to current members;
Organizes and conducts presentations about Mercy Flights’ membership program for the purpose of expanding awareness in the community, building relationships, and gaining new members;
Creates and revises membership informational materials as needed in partnership with others to stay current and marketable;
Makes recommendations and assists with the development of print, radio and television advertising campaigns related to membership;
Consistently demonstrates a professional demeanor and a respectful, cooperative, and helpful behavior to everyone internal and external working as a team player.

Education and Experience Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent;
2-3 years or experience in a similar role;
Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills;
Strong verbal and written presentation and communication skills;
Ability to give presentations in front of various sized groups in an engaging, caring and professional manner;
Excellent organization and time management skills;
Accurate and detail oriented;
A team player who is professional, respectful, cooperative and open to others’ ideas;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including word, excel, outlook along with web based applications.
