Mercy Flights has an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified person to fill the role of Communication Center Supervisor.

Mercy Flights was established in 1949 and is a non-profit EMS agency providing clinical services for Ground, Rotor Wing and Fixed Wing 911 EMS and Inter-facility transports. The Communications Center Supervisor will report to the Medical Operations Manager and will be filled by a candidate that can lead by example. This person will oversee daily operations of the Communications Center including supervision of the Communication Specialist. The Communications Center Supervisor will work with company supervisors and managers to support the operations of the company and will work to foster relationships with other agencies as it relates to Communication Center operations. This person will also need to have the ability to identify, collect, and review key performance indicator data in order to improve Company operations.

Position Information:
Full-time, salaried position;
Schedule: Monday-Friday;
Starting Salary: Depending on qualifications and experience;

Qualification Requirements:
Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher through the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards & Training (DPSST) within (12) months of hire;
Requires computer proficiency including experience using Microsoft office, (word, excel, outlook), along with working knowledge of internet and web based applications;
Computer data entry and retrieval along with strong data analysis knowledge;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Preferred Qualifications:
Paramedic experience in a 911 transport system preferred;
EMS and/or Emergency Medical Dispatch experience preferred;
Prior experience as a direct supervisor or manager preferred.
