Why the Rogue Valley?

Cost of Living

The Rogue Valley is a very affordable place to live. Cost of living, property taxes and state income taxes are lower than most big cities on west coast.  Our average commute is only about 15 minutes, so you save a lot on gas and time. Recreation is in abundance as well which generally has a nice, often free, price tag for entertainment.

Climate

If you heard that it rains a lot in Oregon, you have not visited the Rogue Valley. We enjoy close to 200 days of sunshine per year with less than half the rain of Portland or Eugene. Summertime temperatures rarely rise above 100 degrees, and snow doesn’t often make it to the valley floor. It stays in the mountains making local skiing at Mt. Ashland a joy.

The Outdoors

Our region is known for its world-class outdoor activities. Our team especially enjoys the many golf courses, parks, rivers and mountains for biking, hiking, skiing, boating, you name it.
