FROM OUR TEAM

After I told MFI CEO Doug Stewart I was NOT looking for a new job, he invited me to Mercy Flights “just to talk.” Tricky! I got here and was so impressed by Mercy Flights’ mission, history, and people that I decided to apply for the Medical Director position. I was an EMT before I became a physician and have always loved working with EMTs and paramedics, so it’s a joy to be involved with this extremely talented bunch of folks.

I greatly appreciate the efforts being made to make this an excellent place to work.

I believe this company is amazing, the leadership team and everyone who works here is great.

The company and the mission are great.

I love working here!

I respect our leadership team and feel they are giving 100% to make Mercy Flights a success and a great place to work for all employees.

Work should be fun and fulfilling, should it not? Check out this video for a glimpse into our culture.

Why the Rogue Valley?

Cost of Living

The Rogue Valley is a very affordable place to live. Cost of living, property taxes and state income taxes are lower than most big cities on west coast.  Our average commute is only about 15 minutes, so you save a lot on gas and time. Recreation is in abundance as well which generally has a nice, often free, price tag for entertainment.

Climate

If you heard that it rains a lot in Oregon, you have not visited the Rogue Valley. We enjoy close to 200 days of sunshine per year with less than half the rain of Portland or Eugene. Summertime temperatures rarely rise above 100 degrees, and snow doesn’t often make it to the valley floor. It stays in the mountains making local skiing at Mt. Ashland a joy.

The Outdoors

Our region is known for its world-class outdoor activities. Our team especially enjoys the many golf courses, parks, rivers and mountains for biking, hiking, skiing, boating, you name it.
