The Southern Oregon EMS Apprenticeship Program (SOEMSAP) addresses a growing workforce crisis in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) by creating a structured sustainable talent pipeline. This program strengthens the EMS workforce by integrating formal education, hands-on training, and direct employment pathways.
SOEMSAP is open to anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Oregon driver’s license, and a strong desire to serve their community. Whether you are a recent graduate looking for career opportunities, or someone looking to change careers, we welcome you to learn more about EMS and Mercy Flights and discover if SOEMSAP is right for you. Mercy Flights begins accepting applications in April, annually.
