Mercy Flights is proud to announce its official recognition as a Pediatrics Ready EMS agency by the Oregon Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Program. This designation highlights Mercy Flights’ continued commitment to delivering high-quality emergency medical care to pediatric patients across Southern Oregon. It reflects elevated standards in staff training, specialized equipment, pediatric-specific supplies, and protocols designed to meet the unique needs of children in emergency situations.
Mercy Flights is now the third EMS agency in Oregon to receive this prestigious recognition. After a thorough review and verification process, the Oregon EMSC Program granted initial recognition through October 31, 2027, with renewals scheduled every two years. As part of this honor, Mercy Flights will receive a certificate and decals for each licensed ambulance vehicle, symbolizing our readiness and dedication to pediatric emergency care.
