Description: Mercy Flights is looking for a full-time Mobile Integrated Healthcare Provider to join our team!
Mercy Flights was established in 1949 and is a non-profit EMS agency providing clinical services for Ground, Rotor Wing and Fixed Wing 911 EMS and Inter-facility transports. We are supported by a state of the art Communications Center, full simulation lab and top of the line equipment.
Position Information:
Full-time, non-exempt position;
Twelve (12) hour shifts;
Starting Pay rate: EMT – $16.00/hr. or Paramedic – $22.31/hr. (DOE);

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with patients referred to the MIH program;
Follow-up care in understanding post-discharge instructions, medications and self-care;
Evaluate patients with chronic conditions, review medications and care instructions to ensure patients understand them;
Evaluate patient lab values, utilizing point of care testing, consult with patient’s physician and provide care as directed;
Provide preventative services such as administering flu shots, screen for diseases and educating patients;
Position requires a passion to create community relationships, working with primary care providers to provide quality care.
Qualification Requirements:
Certified Oregon EMT or Paramedic qualifications;
Two (2) years of experience on a 911 transporting ambulance or equivalent community health experience;
Behavioral Heath or Mental Health Education background preferred;
Social work, drug & alcohol and mental health experience desired;
Position requires someone who is self-driven and has critical thinking skills.
